Fresh Choice Kitchens offers a free online newsletter and has an e-list specifically for Cooking and Nutritional Skill Building (CSB) programs like community kitchens. You can sign-up to receive both or just the newsletter.

Funding opportunities
Events, conferences & training opportunities
Supportive tools & resources for cooking together
The difference is:
Newsletter
Is more provincial in scope
Has a different theme each issue (ie. foodsafety, cabbage, kids in the kitchen, canning etc.)
Includes recipes scaled to acommodate large and small groups
Is sent out bi-monthly (once every other month)

Is more regional in focus
Consists of announcements/questions/requests specifically geared to those involved in cooking programs (e.g. request for volunteer CK leaders, requests for information, announcements about donated equipment access, CSB funding opportunities, foodsafe and workshop information etc)
Is sent out usually once-a-week (depending on the announcements)
